• RuBin Presents Couples’ Retreat
  Friday, Jan. 13, 8pm at the PIT Underground (123 E. 24th Street bet. Park Ave. & Lexington Ave.) - $5
  Join your hosts RuBin as they showcase some of the funniest improv duos playing in NYC today. Some of them may be seriously funny, other duos may be beautifully tragic. We can promise you that all of them will be equally memorable. WithRuby Marez & Binu Paulose.
• Spank: Newsadoozies
  Thursday, Jan. 19, 6:30 PM, UCB Chelsea (26th st. between 8th & 9th), $5 (Free with UCB Student ID)
  If you are a fan of Newsies you should check out this new fucked up musical unassociated with the Walt Disney Co. or the movie Newsies.

• The next UCB Diversity practice session is Sunday, Jan. 29, 7-9 pm, at the UCB Training Center (145 W 30th st).

Andrew Fafoutakis: “Hello all! Introducing a brand new show at the Magnet Theater called There’s No Place Like Home! A GLTBQ improv event! This is what we hope to be the first of many GLBTQ improv shows at the Magnet. Where you come in is we need improvisers of all skills and levels to join our rotating cast! Our first show is January 16th, (Mon.) 10PM, and we’re already booked with a full cast. If you’d like to join us for future shows, email afafou@gmail.com with your information. Also if you can’t please spread the word! We need a full house that night to guarantee future shows on a once a month basis. So excited to do this, and we hope you can join us!”

This show is so freaking funny! Newsadoozies is paired with Rory & Craig’s Dog Fleet, which, if you haven’t heard through the grapevine, is a hilarious show, too. If I was not in Newsadoozies, I would probably be plugging it just as much. It is just a really good and really funny musical.
